FAQFrequently asked questions
The things pet parents ask us most. If your question isn't here, call — we'd rather talk it through than have you guess.
Before your pet's stay
Seven questions cover most of it. For rates, deposits, and the full policy detail, see Pricing & Policies.

Saturday:

Sunday:
a pick-up window only, 4:00pm – 5:00pm

Is there someone available after hours?
The owners live on the property, and every pet gets a final potty break between 9:00 and 11:00pm before lights out.
Please note that overnight supervision between 11:00pm and 5:00am is not available.
What vaccines do you require?
Distemper/Parvo combo (DHPP), Rabies, and Bordetella — also known as the kennel cough vaccine, which is not included in annual vaccinations. Check with your veterinarian if you aren't sure.
Records must be received and verified before drop-off. Please send them ahead through our contact form. If we cannot verify current vaccinations, we are not able to accept the pet for boarding — it is the one rule we do not bend, and it keeps every guest safe.
We also suggest your pet be on a flea, tick, and heartworm preventative.
Can I bring my pet's own food?
Absolutely — we prefer to keep pets on their own diet. Kibble or wet food, we can accommodate either. If your pet needs a special diet beyond dry or canned, just tell us.
If food doesn't come in for the stay, we keep top-quality pet food on hand for a small fee.
Should I bring a bed, blanket, or bowl?
No — please leave those at home. We supply beds, blankets, and bowls for every guest.
Toys are welcome, as long as they're hard Nyla-type bones or something without a squeaker inside. We try to deter any chewing or destruction wherever possible.
Can you give medication?
Yes. Pills, creams, salves, skin or ear infections can be handled by any member of our staff for a minimal fee.
One exception: we do not offer boarding for pets that are diabetic and require insulin shots. Please refer back to your veterinarian for that type of medical attention.
Can I come for a tour?
Please do. Tours are offered Monday through Friday during business hours, by appointment.
Call us, or fill out the reservation form and one of our staff will call you back to schedule a date and time.
